CADET OF THE MONTH

Cadet of the month are awarded to one cadet each month who stands out among st their fellow cadets in traits such as leadership or taking initiative. These cadets are advanced up one rank as a reward and receive a pair of Navy sweats. A cadet will be nominated specifically by their Platoon Commander, or an E-7 and above. 
The nominees will come into an interview process on a specific date where an E-7 and above will interview one or two nominees. After the inspection process, the E-7s and above decide which cadet will be eligible to receive a cadet of the month. A cadet may be nominated twice if he or she hasn't won the reward and is still eligible through the decision of an E-7 or above.
