ORIENTEERING TEAM 

Orienteering events are land navigating competitions. The main objective is to navigate through an environment, using a map and a compass, to locate checkpoints designated on the map. There is no specified path on the map to each checkpoint, so it is up to the team to decide how to get there. These events take place in all types of terrain, from hills, to woods, to grasslands. After participation in one event, a cadet is awarded with the Orienteering Team ribbon. A physical is required to be a part of this team.
